Meet the Board
Chair, Treasurer
Sylvia Chacon
I am a 4th generation Phoenician. I am a servant leader at heart and I serve willfully. I want to be a woman who overcomes obstacles in faith rather than tiptoeing around fear or worry. Today is not the day to worry about the “what if “. I encourage you to rise up and speak truth. Today is the day to submit to your calling and do the best at moving forward in fulfilling your purpose in Christ.

Hello everyone! I am a third-generation Phoenician and second generation City employee, along with my siblings which constitutes over 95 years of city service. I have three daughters, two of which are adults, my youngest will be entering high school, and two grand-daughters. I have been a member of COPEFC since 1999. I am excited to see what God has in store for us and super excited to serve on the Board. During my downtime, I enjoy reading (anything inspirational), listening to music, sightseeing, and visiting new places.
I live by Isaiah 41:10 - "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." ~Blessings!
