The City of Phoenix Municipal Employees Association is a nonprofit organization formed for the purpose of promoting the best interests of all city employees; encouraging social cultural, economic and educational activities of its members; providing a medium of exchange of ideas and expressions; fostering a spirit of loyalty and service to the city of Phoenix; and assisting in the creation of intelligent and informed active and alert personnel through a permanent nonprofit organization for the mutual benefit of all city employees.

PAL invites all city employees who support our purpose and mission to join our organization. PAL's mission is to provide opportunities for leadership, professional development, mentoring, networking, sharing and promoting cultural values, and volunteerism within the city of Phoenix. PAL provides opportunities to raise awareness of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures, encourage diversity within the city of Phoenix, to network, and enhance your professional connections and skills.

Noontime Toastmasters Club #7153

Noontime Toastmasters meetings are open to anyone who wants to become a better communicator and leader. The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. Areas of development includes: prepared speeches, impromptu speaking, conducting meetings, evaluations, and leadership skills. Also, a great opportunity for networking and enhancing your professional connections.

 

 

 

Firefighters for Christ

As a firefighter there is nothing more rewarding than a successful lifesaving attempt. EXCEPT - the experience of telling a person how his life can be saved forever through Jesus Christ (John 3:16) and seeing him receive Christ and become part of God's family (John 3:3 and 1:12).
